This is for Crutchie

So I know this is long overdue, but I promised I would do it so here it is. This year for Halloween the Turville family was very excited about some news we heard from NYC. The show the Newsies is headed to Broadway sometime in the spring (March or April). As it is the #1 show around here, we are frequently breaking into song, and Adam playing Jack Kelley more days than not, we decided we had to be the NEWSIES! So here it is.
Here's the crew including Boots, Mush, Crutchie, Jack Kelley, Spot, Les and Davey

End Scene

This was supposed to be a pic but it's a video, but I had to include it so it showed the parentals, chiefly Mr. Weisel (papa T)

Jack Kelley and his horse.

Happy Halloween until next year!

He Makes Me Laugh

I put Maxwell in the Bumbo when I do my hair, so he can be my company.  He can totally sit up in it, and does all of the time.  But he thought he was so funny this day... and I must say, so did I!
Hope it made you smile!

And today he flipped all the way around in his crib and he was pretty proud... can't you tell?

The Beach this year!

We went to the beach last weekend.  It way my Mom's birthday, but as you know, we go every year, and I was so looking forward to it this time!  The day before, I quit my job!  Wahoooooooooooooo!!  I feel like a new woman... and a new Mom.  It's the best.  Here are a few reasons I loved the beach this year...

I had this darling guy to spend it with!

And these ones are pretty great too!

But these two were so much fun to see.  That little June is a dream.  As you can see, I'm used to holding older babies.  I guess I need some practice on the newborns again.  I loved this.  And doesn't Danielle look darling.   Thanks for coming all the say down Danielle.  It was heavenly!  (I love that Maxwell is checking June out in the picture.  Good job buddy, you're already off to a good start!)

Quite the Summer

Just a few pictures from our crazy summer... living away, you never really do stop packing or unpacking your bags.  I should just leave them always packed.

We blessed Maxwell in Salt Lake when we were there, and it was so nice to have our family at it.  I loved it.  We also went to Teasdale.  Elliot's family has a house down by Capitol Reef/Lake Powell and we went down there with them.  It was so much fun.  We hadn't been there forever, so it was a fabulous get away.
Can you see all those grand kids my parents have.  Isn't that crazy?  They're getting so big!  I love it.

We also went to San Diego for a get away while in Arizona.  We love it there.  Maxwell loved being able to be outside.  We went on our favorite hikes, ate at our favorite restaurants, went to Coronado, laid by the pool and just enjoyed having Elliot around!  Do you think it's bad that I'm already taking my 2 month old to the pool, beach and on hikes...  Start him off early, right?

It was so much fun to spend the night with you Rach, even if it was a random night.  And thanks to
Miss Lauren, I loved snuggling you all night!  Can you tell it was windy...
When we were in Salt Lake, Kate and I had our kiddos photographed.  They're just 2 months apart, and it has been the best thing ever!  Having babies close in age to your siblings could be my favorite thing yet.  Don't you agree Maddie and Laura.  So much fun!
But there aren't two people who are more happy to be home, than Maxwell and I.  We LOVE Tulsa.  Who would have thought?  After 5 flights, 4 states, 3 different cribs, in Maxwell's first 2 months of life, we are so excited to be home.  Can't you tell?!  We just can't wait for El to join us.  It's been a long 3 weeks apart!

lauren's nursery

So I just thought I would put these up.  Not that I want you all to see my half A decorating skills but just to see the little ones room...

Lauren is now almost 7.5 months and I actually had to take her bumpers off the other day.  I was so sad! I am now going to have to lower her crib.... They grow way too fast! At work yesterday there was like 6 newborns and I was dying wanting to hold all of them.  (not that I want another baby yet, but it's just crazy how fast they grow!)

Love you all and I hope all is well!

These are for you Miss

Miss, here are some pictures of Maxwell.  He is getting so big so fast.  It's so much fun.  He started smiling the past couple of weeks, and it's the best.  I just adore him!

Our Famous Friend...

Here is Danielle in the center of San Francisco, 9 months pregnant, dancing her little heart out (and her baby's) in a Flash Mob in Union Square.  This was in the newspaper...

Danielle Curtis who is due to give birth in two weeks joins a flash mob that gathered at the various spots in San Francisco on June 25, 2011. The flash mob danced to songs from Michael Jackson on the second anniversary of his passing.

Seriously, Danielle, you're the cutest!  I love it!  I was dying when I saw this and the youtube videos.  So fun!  And you look so darling.  Now we know what you look like 9 months along.  I can't wait for her to arrive.

Here are a few videos:

Did you take pictures Danielle?  We want details!  Love you!

And another one...

Ok so this isn't important at all, but I made another felt art to go with the first. Just thought I'd share. It's a little odd but I was inspired by one of the backgrounds from the Just Dance game for the Wii (have you guys played that? My family loves it). Anyway, I have no clue what I'll do with these but I enjoyed the process of making them. Thanks again Al for the idea. I'd love to see the finished products of what you guys did and any other projects you have all been working on. Don't be shy, this is a safe space. Rach, I think you should post pictures of Lauren's room. It's adorable and you did such a great job with it! And Miss, I'd love to see some of the works of art you've done for Sydney's class.

It was wonderful seeing most of you this week, especially meeting baby Maxwell - what a little sweetie! And it was great chatting and catching up with you Danielle. We all can't wait to see you again and to meet your darling girl. Keep us posted on everything!

Thanks for being my friends. I love and admire each of you so much!

welcome to the outside world my boy

I feel like Ethan and I have basically been living in a cave all winter. Babies aren't best suited for winter activities so as the warm weather has come here and there, we've tried to get out and enjoy it!

Wheeler Farm

Sitting up on the grass. Did you guys have that apple thing when you were little? I swear we've had it since the 70s. It's Ethan's fav.
At the park.

He's not that thrilled by the swings quite yet. He kinda just sits there like a blob. I'm excited for this summer though because I think he'll be that much older to really enjoy being outdoors. He loves animals so I can't wait to take him to the zoo! Anyone want to come?

And here's a few of him that I took yesterday.....

There's a mirror in his room (or as you may remember as my old room from back in the day) right next to the chair where I feed him. He loves to look into it. This is their reflection.
 Flipping off the camera.

To prove he has some hair growth at last.

Just a little update on us: Bret has suddenly become a busy guy. He works part time at Home Depot which he really enjoys and he just got a job with Google that he's excited about which he'll do from home on the computer (I'm glad because that means he'll still be around a lot). They're both two good things for him to do while he studies for the GMAT and applies for business schools. He's always been interested in hospital administration so he's volunteering at the hospital ER one morning a week to get a feel for it and see if he'd like to go into that field. But as always, who knows where life will take us, eh?

Thought you'd think this was interesting....

So you're going to think I'm a nerd, but I read the SL Tribune and Deseret News most days, to see what I'm missing in SLC!  (Maybe you two out of staters can relate).  Well, I came across this article today.  http://www.deseretnews.com/article/705370915/CBS-TV-movie-tells-story-of-Latter-day-Saint-and-educational-advocate-Stacey-Bess.html

It's funny because I LOVE Hallmark Hall of Fames, and always watch them.  (Surprise, right?)  I said we had to for sure watch this one this time.  Then I read this and saw what it was about.  I talked to Brandon about the book before, but that's pretty cool that she did this movie.  It will be interesting to see.  Thought you guys might want to watch.  Although you may be doing things with your families on Easter.  Anyway, I would have wanted you guys to pass it on, so I thought I would.  And since Miss is always in the know, I wanted to see if she knew about this.  So Miss... did you?  Interesting.

Speaking of Easter, do you guys have any fun traditions or cute ideas for Easter?  I'd love any ideas, and I'm sure you all have something up your sleeve... so fill us in.  And take pictures this Easter, to add here.  It's so fun to see what is going on in your lives, and pictures tell great stories.

Love you all!

Fayetteville

El and I went to Fayetteville, Arkansas a couple of weekends ago.  We wanted to go before the babe comes, and this was our last little hoorrah!  It is a quick 2 hour drive, through the country.  It is beautiful in the south this time of year, with all of the spring flowers and trees blooming, and it was just as gorgeous if not more beautiful in Arkansas.  It's in the Ozark Mountains, so it actually had hills, and I loved it.  (Oklahoma doesn't have one hill!  Just trees.)

There was a Farmer's Market on the Saturday after we got there, and it was so much fun to walk around, and check out the little town.

This is President Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton's first home.  It was actually really cute.  They were law professors (Danielle and Whit, does that tell you anything about them... Don't Brad and James tell you the most random stories?) at the University of Arkansas when they first began, so this is about a mile from campus.  They were also married in the front room.

This is the University that Chi O originated, and was founded at.  I've always wanted to go here, so it was neat to see.  Their house is HUGE!  It doesn't look that big, but it goes back for an entire block.  Allie, I bet they don't have any mice they have to catch themselves in this house!  It's too nice...  :)  They also have the big Chi Omega Amphitheater on campus, that Chi O dedicated.  Do you remember learning about that?  I had totally forgot.

This is the cute bed and breakfast that we stayed in.  It was the cutest little Inn, right on the main street in town.  I thought I was in a movie.  Everything was so charming.  It was the cutest town.  I can't wait to go back. (don't mind how pregnant I look in these...)
